Care Instruction:
Officially – I would recommend dry clean BUT see below – if you don’t mind a slightly more bubbly texture – (which to me suits the gorgeous natural look fo this fabric – you can chuck it in the washing machine. I put it in the 30 minute one – couldn’t tell you if it was hot or cold. The edges frayed beautifully (the effect I was looking for) I dried on a hanger.

Is it tricky to stitch? I’ve stitched worse hideous polyesters. I used some tissue paper to do the reverse appliqué on the bust of my dress, but otherwise, because I chose a raw finish, it was not too bad. My machine is a bit fancy though, and these tissue weight fabrics really do glide through. You may have some issues with the fabric feeding through at the start of a seam on less fancy machines. When I say fancy – my fav machine is my entry level Bernina – Its a B380, but you can get the new Mark II one HERE
The colour is a rich Ocean Ombre — slightly deeper and more vibrant in real life than it appears on screen, particularly when you double it up.
I threw mine through the washing machine and the texture changed from super smooth to slightly more “bubbly” it suits the fabric IMO and takes away the issue of dry cleaning!
