  Yes — this builds on it.

• Is this beginner-friendly?

  Yes, If you can sew the top, you can extend it. And if you are a Rockstar stitcher – there is no END to the options!!

• Can I make a coat with this?

  Yes — just choose your fabric and cut double the front pieces so you can make a facing  – A lined coat is pretty advanced – more for  Rockstars than Rookies

Style: Relaxed fit shift dress/pull on skirt/ coat

Fit: Loose through body with slight A line

Length: Knee Length

Fabric and Notions required:

In addition to the fabric, pattern, notions and Playbook required for the REMIX Boxy Top:

DRESS:

• Knee length: 4 fabric pieces, each approximately 45 × 45 cm (18 × 18 in)
• Maxi length: 8 fabric pieces, each approximately 45 × 45 cm (18 × 18 in)

Full-length LOWER sleeves:

• 2 fabric pieces, each approximately 45 × 30 cm (18 × 12 in)

SKIRT:

• You won’t need fabric for the upper body or sleeves. Depending on length chosen, use 8-12 pieces of fabric 45 × 45 cm (18 × 18 in)
• 25 mm (1 in) elastic: your comfortable waist measurement plus approximately 2 cm (¾ in) for joining.

COAT:

• 4 outer-fabric pieces, each approximately 45 × 45 cm (18 × 18 in)
• For a front-only lining, cut one additional mirrored pair of each front panel—6 pieces in total.
• For a complete lining, allow approximately the same total fabric quantity as for the outer coat. The lining can be pieced in panels or cut using joined pattern sections. Plan your layout before purchasing or cutting fabric.
• Button, press stud, hook-and-eye or closure of your choice.

TIE BELT:

• Cut one large fabric rectangle approximately 2 m × 20 cm (2⅛ yd × 8 in). Adjust the length and width to suit you.
