This is a great book – about $1 per pattern!
There is a fabulous winter wardrobe planner in the front of the book and the patterns include coats, ponchos, tops, dresses, pants and skirts, all with very clear sewing instructions. Will pair wonderfully with our new winter fabrics due end of February! I can’t wait to get started with it, super inspired! It is Japanese origin but all instructions are in English.

The books’ author, Yuko Katayama, started sewing at the age of six, and graduated from Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. Katayama has sewn many different things over more than 30 years including patternmaking, teaching sewing, customising garments, repairing clothing and even sewing shoes! She has also worked in publishing of sewing magazines and books, and produced hewr own label for wholesale.
Every day she tries to improve herself, always trying new things. Sounds like a great way to live if you ask me!
